umbrella factory visit

Today we went on a visit to a umbrella producing factory in the city. That's the parts for the telescopic handle of the collapsible umbrella.

Saw the massiveness of the scale of operation within the factory. Its more like a place to assemble the umbrella. The workers there are super fast, can't even see properly what they are actually doing and the parts are assembled already. The process starts from assembling the handles first, then slowly building up to the frame. The canopy of the umbrella is sewn together, then fixed to the frame manually.

There's even a competition to come up with new and innovative ideas for umbrella design. Be it to sell, or use, or manufacture. Its pretty open. Guess Tayllen would be more interested judging from the year 2 project.
