Went to get a secondhand bicycle from the east station in Hangzhou. Can say that it is certainly a shady business judging from the way they conduct it. There were no shop fronts, and the people were kind of like touts asking random people whether they want to buy bicycles. But amusingly no one wanted to approach us when we arrived, cos hearing from the local students there should be people asking from the moment we arrived. We had to walk round the station and out of it in order to look for the bikes.
In the end we settled for a couple of decent looking bikes, 2 for 250. And we rode it back to our school campus...
