Chinese new year came and went like the wind. There was the usual preparations for it, the frantic buying, fitting of clothes, the hopes and aspirations for the new year. When the day finally comes, the whirlwind of visits made the days go by in a flash. Plus the non stop eating. And then again come next year, there will be the usual routines again. The same families, an occasional baby, new families, new packets. But things somehow are the same.

Chinese new year came and went like the wind. There was the usual preparations for it, the frantic buying, fitting of clothes, the hopes and aspirations for the new year. When the day finally comes, the whirlwind of visits made the days go by in a flash. Plus the non stop eating. And then again come next year, there will be the usual routines again. The same families, an occasional baby, new families, new packets. But things somehow are the same.
