thesis + looming deadline = hysterisis
Got this from a line in terry pratchett's "small gods". Had to change it a bit from the original to reflect the current state of mind now.
2nd interim, and going downhill. It's a funny case of everyone's projects seem more interesting than my own..

chinese new year 2010
Chinese new year came and went like the wind. There was the usual preparations for it, the frantic buying, fitting of clothes, the hopes and aspirations for the new year. When the day finally comes, the whirlwind of visits made the days go by in a flash. Plus the non stop eating. And then again come next year, there will be the usual routines again. The same families, an occasional baby, new families, new packets. But things somehow are the same.
