keep to the straight and narrow
In this time of the month, keep to the straight and narrow. Walk on foot paths and to avoid taking short cuts. Who knows what you might step on, in this day.

no tv for a potentially long time: update
The TV went up again. Seems like the wiring was too old. It just took a bit of shifting to get it working again. Now everyone is watching again.
anachronism in a digital age
Lately i was struck by the save icon used in many of the softwares. It employs a diskette to signify a "saved" function. In this day and age where diskette seems to be so outdated that computers don't come with the floppy disk drive anymore. How interesting it is to see an icon that makes sense probably in the 80s or earlier surviving now in this world where the smallest storage capacity goes in a few hundred megabytes. Wherein our default mode of storage is the thumb drive.
So it begs the question. How would we express the "save" function that makes sense and reflects our digital age today. Would it be a welcomed change? Or something that is irrelevant and bears no consequence. How would future generations who have not seen a floppy disk relate to it? Would it be a seen as a quirk of people and their thinking?
