the last bit

The graduation exhibition ended today. After that 1 month and 4 years of toiling, complaining, stressing, it seems surreal that everything is ending and winding down. We pick up the pieces decimated from the hurricane of work, and move on to new adventures and beginnings. Of course there would be that sentimental bit left behind, the bonds forged through work, bitching and everything else under the sun. Hopefully that would bring us through the coming years ahead. Our beginnings as designers from NUS. Where our first questions to each other were, "why did you decide to join ID?"

I am glad that I made this accidental discovery; of stepping into this world of design. A truly serendipitous moment for me, not one bit of it a calculated decision. I think I have come to know myself better, marginally. Although I am still floundering in this huge ocean of life. May the future smile upon us, as it has done now.

I am very happy that fate allowed me to meet this dynamic bunch of people whom I call my studio mates. We did all sorts of nonsense together, occasionally giving each other grief. But at the end of the day, all is forgiven and forgotten. I hope. I will miss them very much.
